Following today's government press briefing and the introduction of "Soft Curfew" restrictions, we will be open for appointments for sick pets only Saturday 28th March from 9 am to 3 pm.

In order to minimise social contact, our waiting room will be closed.  Only one client at a time will be permitted.

If you require repeat prescriptions, or prescription pet food, you MUST CALL ahead to make you request before 11 am to enable us to prepare this for you. 


There will be NO WALK IN purchases. 


Should you wish to observe the "shelter-in-place" recommendations, or to avoid unduly waiting to be served, we will be offering a same day delivery service for a nominal fee.  Please make thie request known to our staff when placing your order.

We continue to offer full emergency care throughout the hard curfew time frame.

To keep in touch, please call (345) 640-5838 between 9 am and 3 pm tomorrow, or (345) 525-5838 outside of these hours otherwise.

It is our intention to continue to offer this level of service throughout the remainder of the soft curfew period.

Dear Friends of Kman Vets,

Due to the evolving situation with the Coronavirus outbreak, and in light of the Cayman Islands Government's updated recommendation for a 24-hour curfew until Saturday morning, we are closed for regular business.

Please note that we are in the process of updating our protocols relating to regular business activities throughout the rest of the partial shut down period for the next 10 days.  

We hope to update you in the next 48 hours in regard to changes of our business practice, especially restricting the amount of face-to-face contact in order to protect clients and staff alike.  

We are hopeful that this will just be a transient process whilst the island deals with the threat of community transfer of the virus.

Be assured that our position as essential personnel has been confirmed by the Cayman Islands Goverment in regard to providing emergency veterinary services throughout the 24-hour curfew and beyond.  
This will for now be restricted to emergencies that cannot be managed with simple over-the-phone advice, and to our in-patient care. 

Until Saturday morning, we will not be open for routine appointments,  medications/ food collections or deliveries, and we apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause.  


We appreciate your understanding as we try to balance our provision of emergency care with honouring the protection and care of our community.  

For those with appointments scheduled for Thursday and Friday, we will need to cancel for the time being, but will be in touch to reschedule.

In the light of the recent Coronavirus [Covid-19] Pandemic, we will continue to strive to provide the best care to our clients and patients, maintaining as normal service as possible; whilst also taking precautions to keep our staff and clients safe. 

Our facility at Midtown is already sanitized daily and we are also introducing ways to minimize

social contact when in the clinic.

Key Points:

  • Sanitize upon arrival and departure.


  • Inform reception if you are unwell, or suspect that you may have been in contact or may be infected with Covid-19.  They will provide further instructions.


  • Examinations of your pet are by scheduled appointments ONLY


  • In case of emergencies, please call ahead to inform us that you are on the way with your pet, so that we may prepare for your arrival. 


  • Repeat Prescriptions/ Food collections. Please prepay in advance by card over the phone. Allow 24 hours for preparation.


  • Delivery service available upon request - allow 48 hours for delivery.  Additional fees will apply.


  • Ambulance services available upon request. Additional fees will apply.


  • If more than two clients in reception, please wait outside until your turn.
